Background
Stephen L. Kosar is a certified public accountant licensed in the States of Connecticut and New York. He worked for a regional CPA firm in New York State until 1986, when he transferred to the Connecticut office. In January 1997, he joined Allingham and Company, PC as a manager. The firm was located at 24 Delay Street, Danbury since 1982. On January 1, 2002, he became the president and owner of Allingham, Kosar and Company, PC. As of July 1st., 2012 the firm name is Kosar & Company, PC. On June 19th, 2014 the firm moved the office to 158 Deer Hill Ave, Danbury, CT, 06810.
Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Steve is the treasurer for a local library association, and past treasurer for the youth soccer club and youth baseball league in New York state. Steve was also a volunteer coach in youth baseball, basketball and soccer. He is a past co-treasurer on the board of The Friends of Danbury Library.
